Pet Insurance Reimbursement Calculator
Got a vet bill and wondering what pet insurance would actually pay back? Enter the numbers below. The tool applies your deductible first, then your reimbursement rate, the way a real claim works.
An estimate, not a guarantee. Real payouts depend on your policy's exact terms, covered items, and annual limit. This tool assumes the full bill is covered and your annual limit hasn't been reached.
How the calculation works
Pet insurance pays back in a set order. First the insurer subtracts your deductible (if you haven't met it yet this year). Then it reimburses its percentage of what's left. So on a $1,000 bill with a $250 deductible and 80% reimbursement, you'd get 80% of $750, which is $600 back, and cover $400 yourself.
